All items of work are produced using locally sourced timber, or carefully procured timber from Europe, America and Africa. Our own timber is air dried and seasoned outside the workshop, then acclimatized for a period in the workshop wood store. For each job, timber from the store is carefully selected and sawn to size, ready to be expertly crafted by Stuart Harris with his traditional hand tools and wood machining plant.

Wood shavings are disposed of in an environmentally friendly way and all off-cuts are burnt to help heat the workshop.
